Environmental Portraits are among our favorite things. These may be made in your home, a local park, our outdoor studio. Our outdoor studio gives us numerous settings including, Spanish arch, barn wood and hay bails, fish pond, split rail fence, flowers in season, and more.

Of course it may cost a little more for travel time to your location, but the family (including the pets) is more comfortable in familiar surroundings and therefore tends to be more relaxed thus making better images. These images reflect your lifestyle and personality which are intangibles we seek to portray. We have agents in several towns and travel to these on a regular basis thus negating the travel charge to specific locations. We will be happy to notify you when we will be in your town.

TEAMS….GROUPS….REUNIONS….DANCE SCHOOLS…ETC... should be remembered in pictures! One of the most popular items we have offered is TRADER CARDS. These look just like the ones the Big Leagues with stats, name, etc. on the back. We also offer the traditional memory mate which features a team image and an individual image. Other items include buttons, mirrors, key chains.

Pets and other animals are very much a part of our lives. Often we fail to have them included in our family portraits. Only elephants and a few species of turtles have a longer lifespan than humans so it is essential not to delay having animal portraits made. One of the best ways to make such portraits are with children (or adult) in a natural setting, romping in the woods or curled up beside a home fireside. Patience and planning is necessary for pet photography and we offer both.

Are your pets to large for the studio? Not at Boden’s. We have 20 acres on which to roam. If your horse is a jumper, bring a barrier and let him jump. We are on a ridge and can get a background of clear sky or meadow, whatever suits.. Animal photography takes planning; so lets had a pre-session planning meeting. Please notify us if you are bringing an animal so we can plan appropriately. There are no stupid requests, only bad results because of poor planning.
